WHY HOLISTIC COACHING?
Holistic coaching focuses on your health and wellbeing by recognizing the interdependence of the whole person--how your body, mind and emotions are all working together and influencing each other. As such, improving your wellbeing and overall health involves looking at your lifestyle from more than one perspective.
Diet (including herbs), stress management, sleep hygiene and movement practices are all playing important roles. For example, there is no replacement for getting good sleep. Sure, some coffee may be better than nothing, but it's not going to do the whole job. And likewise, if your body is constantly in a state of fight-or-flight, it is not going to be able to fully heal /recover from illness or past events.
Figuring out how to change your habits or default modes of responding to your environment is not easy, but that's where I come in. When we collaborate holistically, we look at all of these areas that have the greatest impact and then consider which areas in your life could benefit from some adjustments. You start with whatever feels the most achievable for you at that time, and progress at your own pace.
As a coach, it is my job to support you in your goals for holistic wellness. I am not here to tell you what to do or prescribe strict regimens based on what I think is best for you. You are the one in charge! As your coach, I will offer education and support at every step along the way.
